During my recent Christmas getaway to Pousada Rio Claro, I was utterly charmed by the hotel's serene setting near the river, which offered a picturesque backdrop for relaxation and exploration. The boat tour was a delightful experience, especially as we fed caiman and admired the diverse wildlife – a treat for both seasoned travelers and first-timers like my companions and me. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the unexpected culinary offerings; the food surpassed my expectations. Each morning, we savored a complimentary buffet breakfast featuring delicious local flavors, fueling us for the day's adventures. Our excursions led by the amiable guide Benedict were well-organized, providing a perfect blend of education and excitement as we sought out fascinating wildlife sightings. With its dedicated staff, including the welcoming manager Wende, every element of our stay was designed for comfort and enjoyment. I left feeling rejuvenated and inspired, eagerly looking forward to my next architectural journey in Germany, enriched by this wonderful Brazilian retreat.
